Fund-raising

All funding is gratefully received and put to very good use but there is always a need for more. We are very lucky to have the continued support of various local schools, churches, organisations and individuals who make regular donations. We are often overwhelmed by the generosity of our local community, bearing in mind that our organisation has to keep a low profile due to the nature of our work.

If you are thinking of holding a fund-raising event to support the work of the Refuge please contact us as we would be pleased to help you.

If you want to make a direct donation, cheques should be made payable to Welwyn Hatfield Women's Refuge and sent to the above address.

Donations

If you have items you no longer need and think that we may be able to find a use for them please contact us so that we can discuss it. We are not able to accept donations of furniture as we don't have anywhere to store it. Your local Council for Voluntary Services may run a Furniture Scheme or know of organisations that can accept large items.

Seasonal gifts e.g. Easter eggs and Christmas presents are always welcome and always very much appreciated.
